Unlock the secret to radiant and rejuvenated skin with our Nano Infusion – a revolutionary treatment designed to enhance the absorption of active ingredients into the epidermis, addressing specific skin concerns without the need for invasive measures. The Nano-Needling treatment can be a standalone option for individuals seeking a less time-consuming alternative, eliminating the need for a facial.
Nano infusion therapy is a cutting-edge solution for various skin conditions such as wrinkles, fine lines, pigmentation, and scarring. Unlike traditional microneedling, this non-invasive therapy does not wound the skin or draw blood.
Experience instant and lasting results as the treatment stimulates blood circulation, hydrates the skin, softens lines, reduces scarring, and illuminates your complexion.
Our Nano Infusion utilizes a specialized Nano infusion pen featuring 36 microscopic pyramid pins on a 16 mm Nanochip, each thinner than a single strand of human hair. This pen, gently pressed onto the skin, creates thousands of micro pathways per minute without causing any discomfort.
The micro pathways allow for superior absorption of nutrients and skincare products, enhancing the skin's capability to absorb by an impressive 97%. Within 15 minutes, the Nanochannels naturally close.
Unlike microneedling, Nano Infusion Facial Therapy is a painless and non-invasive procedure. No numbing cream is required, and there is zero downtime. Clients often find the treatment relaxing, as it exclusively targets the epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin.
Perfect for addressing a range of skin issues, Nano Infusion Facial Therapy is ideal for those seeking solutions for scarring, wrinkles, fine lines, skin pigmentation, puffy or sagging eyes, acne, acne scars, and even hair regrowth.

Both nano-needling & micro-needling address the same skincare concerns and they both use a needling pen to create micro-channels in the skin. The main difference between the two is the depth that the needles are able to penetrate into the skin. Nano-needling only punctures the first layer of the skin (epidermis) while micro-needling penetrates into the deep dermis. If you are concerned about fine lines & wrinkles, swelling, dark pigmentation or sagging skin, then nano-needling is for you. If your skin care concerns include deep wrinkles, hypo-pigmentation, stretch marks or deep acne scars, than micro-needling would be the treatment for that.
Both nano-needling and micro-needling address skincare concerns using a needling pen to create micro-channels in the skin. The main distinction is the depth of penetration: nano-needling targets the epidermis, addressing fine lines and surface issues, while micro-needling goes deeper into the dermis, treating more substantial concerns like deep wrinkles and scars.
Nano-Needling is safe for all skin types and colors, with minimal risk of post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation if post-care instructions are followed. It effectively reduces fine lines, improves skin tone and texture, minimizes pore size, and lifts and firms the skin.
Each treatment is customized based on individual skincare concerns. Options range from targeted eye and lip treatments to full-face nano-needling Facial, which can be combined with Lactic Peel or Dermaplaning. The treatment plan is tailored after a detailed skin analysis by a licensed esthetician.
Nano-Needling can be done every two to three weeks for optimal results, and a series of treatments is recommended.
At-home devices often use rolling wheels, while professional Nano-Needling pens have disposable cartridges with clustered needles. Professional pens reduce infection risks, provide precise penetration, and ensure proper collagen and elastin production. At-home devices may pose infection risks, cause microscopic tears, and, if misused, lead to scarring.
A Nano-Needling treatment results in increased smoothness and hydration, thicker and firmer skin, improved microcirculation, and an overall healthier skin condition.
Nano-Needling is not suitable for individuals with keloid or raised scarring, recent facial injections, open wounds, active acne or cold sores, immune-suppression diseases, diabetes, or within 10 days of blood thinners use. Pregnant individuals and those with herpes simplex infections are advised against the treatment. Additionally, scars less than six months old, raised moles, warts, or lesions should be avoided.
In the ever-evolving world of skincare, microneedling has emerged as a revolutionary technique, promising a natural and effective way to rejuvenate the skin. As we seek non-invasive solutions to combat the signs of aging and address various skin concerns, microneedling has gained popularity for its ability to stimulate collagen production and enhance overall skin texture. Let's delve into the world of microneedling and uncover the science, benefits, and considerations associated with this transformative skincare procedure.
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, involves the use of a device equipped with fine, sterile needles to create micro-injuries on the skin's surface. This controlled damage triggers the body's natural healing response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin—the proteins responsible for maintaining skin elasticity and firmness.
During a microneedling session, a licensed skincare professional or dermatologist will carefully glide the microneedling device over the targeted areas. The tiny needles penetrate the skin, creating micro-channels that prompt the skin to regenerate and repair itself. The procedure is typically well-tolerated, and any discomfort is often minimized with the application of a topical numbing cream.
While microneedling is generally considered safe, there are some considerations and aftercare steps to keep in mind:
Microneedling stands at the forefront of innovative skincare, offering a natural and effective solution for those seeking skin rejuvenation. By harnessing the body's own healing mechanisms, microneedling provides a non-invasive option for achieving a radiant and youthful complexion. As with any cosmetic procedure, it's essential to consult with a skincare professional to determine if microneedling is the right choice for your individual needs. Embrace the journey towards healthier, more vibrant skin and unveil the beauty that lies beneath the surface.

What inspired you to start your own business? I have been in the beauty industry for over 30 years in various forms from working in a salon to modelling for various consumer based beauty products to have been featured on The Shopping Channel, music videos, TV series, and many other projects. I enjoy helping both women and men achieve their best version of themselves using professional and medical beauty treatments without the high end costs.
What helped you when working with BACD and how did it impact you and your business? What helped me was the on-going support and direction of how to better track your services in order to see what was working and what wasn’t. This allowed me to see my growth and overall vision I have for the future.
Tell us about the growth of your business. My business has grown as I have a Nurse Practitioner and a Lash Technologist that does our lash services.
What marketing strategies have been successful for you? I have found using a marketing expert with Facebook ads and Instagram has helped build my brand, being consistent with my posts has also helped to drive traffic. I have also worked with a business mentor to brainstorm ideas and concepts.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own business? The first bit of advice I would give to someone wanting to start their own business is to ask yourself how invested are you going to be. Growth, success and monetary reward isn’t instant and successful companies take time and usually your own funds to start. I would also say to know your business and what is needed to start it. The beauty industry itself requires a lot of due diligence and many levels of regulation in order to get off the ground, so making sure to have that checked off the list first will avoid any delays in getting things started.
Don’t look at failures as a bad thing, look at them as growth opportunities and if you are truly passionate about what you do, success will follow.
View our success story on the Business Advisory Centre Durham Website Book NowThe LASH LIFT procedure begins with placing silicone pads on top of the eyelid. This technique is relatively new and can lift, straighten or curl, and lengthen your own natural lashes to create a brighter, fuller, wide eyed look. LASH LIFTS are another way to lengthen lashes and leave you feeling like you have lash extensions. No need for extensions and the associated aftercare, this will last you approximately 6-8 weeks. Clients like combining the LASH LIFT with a LASH TINT for that extra pop. No need for mascara, however it can be applied.
A LASH LIFT is enhanced when you use an eyelash growth product. While your lashes grow longer, our product controls straight or overly curly lashes by giving them an equal lifted look. Black eyelash tint or another color of your choice is applied during the treatment to enhance the look of your lashes.
The procedure is totally painless. Your eyes will be closed for the entire treatment. It may feel a little strange not being able to open your eyes for this time. Take this opportunity to relax and enjoy!
Yes completely safe. Lashes are lifted onto our specially shaped silicone lifting pads before products are applied.
Select a carefully trained and skilled professional to ensure proper LASH LIFT procedures are followed.
A LASH LIFT can take anything from 45 minutes to an hour from beginning to end. Maybe a little longer if you decide to have your eyelashes tinted which will enhance the effect of your LASH LIFT. Tinting takes an extra 10 minutes.
A LASH LIFT can last up to 6-8 weeks but can vary from person to person. You will need to repeat this process approximately every 6-8 weeks to lift the new hair growth. If you swim, rub your eyes a lot, or use harsh products the lashes may drop or weaken. If you find that your lift does not last 6-8 weeks, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 weeks of having the initial treatment.
Very few people have a reaction to the product but that doesn't mean it won't happen, so to be sure you can visit prior to your lash lift treatment for a patch test 24 hours beforehand, unless the client waives the patch test.
A patch test is quick and simple. A small bit of each lifting solution, & water soluble adhesive is applied behind the ear.
We ask you to remove them temporarily during the treatment as the eyes will be closed throughout. You can put your contacts back in immediately after the procedure.
You should leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish, use a non-waterproof mascara so there is no pulling when you remove your mascara. Pulling on your lashes will weaken the lash lift.
Wait 24 hours and use a gentle cleanser.
A LASH LIFT will begin to naturally drop after 6-8 weeks and your lashes will be back to their natural look. The lashes should drop evenly and will not look out of place. You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 weeks if you feel the need, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state.

Book Now Book NowHow long do spray tans last? 5 to 15 days. Pretty easy, right? Now comes the tricky part: how to get your tan to last out to that 15 day mark instead of just lasting 5. For that, I have good news and bad news:
The bad news is that, chances are, you're the one preventing your tan from lasting 15 days. The good news? I'm the one who's going to help you change all that. You can thank me later, but for now: let's get started!
The first step in understanding how to get the most out of your tan is understanding how your tan got there in the first place. While it may seem like magic, the darkening of your skin is due to a naturally derived ingredient called Dihydroxyacetone (DHA for short). As you know, the color is only temporary though! This is because, unlike UV rays from a natural sun tan, spray tanning only affects the topmost layer of your skin. This means that the tan you just got from your friendly spray tan professional will only last as long as that top layer of skin, which is determined by your personal skin cycle (where dead skin sloughs off and is replaced by newer skin underneath).
While everyone's skin cycle is as unique as they are, there are still proven ways to lengthen the time between skin cell birth and death; better, there are also ways you can improve your spray tan prep to get more out of each visit! So read up and enjoy, and please remember to address all "Thank you" cards to: Drew at Aviva Labs!
Unfortunately it's been proven that PH Balancing Sprays and other prep products offer no discernable benefit to a spray tan. The sad fact is that those products are just another way for the companies that produce them to make money. In actuality, because they create a barrier between you and your tanning solution, these products can make your tan results worse instead of better! Mad yet? Yeah, I thought you might be!

Book Now Book NowBotox is the common trade name for this substance. It is also known by its scientific name botulinum toxin. Its primary objective is to treat and prevent facial wrinkles, although it can also be used to treat blepharospasms, strabismus, and muscle dystonias. In 2002, Botox was approved by the FDA as a cosmetic treatment for frown lines above the eyebrows and wrinkles. Since then, it has become one of the most sought-out treatments for those who want to prevent the signs and effects of aging from occurring in their face or to correct any present signs.
Facial fillers are also known as dermal fillers. Like Botox, it is also used to prevent or eliminate signs of aging in the face like wrinkles. This is where they often get confused. The primary difference between the two is that Botox reduces the activity of muscles in the face that cause wrinkles. Facial fillers, however, fill the trouble areas with collagen, which helps to stimulate collagen growth in the face as well as plump and lift the skin to replace collagen loss. This helps your skin achieve as youthful of a look as possible, as well as eliminate signs of aging that occur as a result of collagen depletion.
The important things to consider when choosing between Botox and facial fillers is what kind of wrinkles you want to get rid of and how. Botox is the better choice for dynamic wrinkles as it will reduce their motion and visibility. These wrinkles occur when the face is in motion or making expression. They are usually positioned in the forehead and around the eyebrows. Facial fillers are ideal for static wrinkles, which are visible even when your face is relaxed and making no expression. These areas are depleted and sunken in and will benefit from the fullness that facial fillers give them.
Knowing the difference between Botox and facial fillers and how they work matters significantly when seeking treatment for your wrinkles. Whichever one you choose, both forms of treatments are very efficient ways to recapturing and maintaining a youthful appearance.
